2008 Fall Watershed-Wide Clean Up

partnersThe Richland Creek Greenway TrailWatch Volunteer Program joined RCWA as a project partner for the October 2007 Creek and Greenway Cleanup.

Greenways for Nashville
in partnership with the Metro Parks Greenways Commission coordinates the TrailWatch Volunteer Program for the safety, security, and protection of greenway users, park resources, and the surrounding natural areas.

Metro Water Services (MWS) accepted RCWA’s Adopt-A-Stream application for Richland Creek. This MWS program is seeking community groups for annual creek clean ups and to stencil “No Dumping” on stormwater drains in their community.

Actus Lend Lease gave their employees the option to participate in RCWA’s April 2007 Earth Day Creek CleanUp with pay and not come to work that day. Actus also donated the printing costs for 500 RCWA brochures.
